Experience, Insight, and a Lifelong Commitment to Music

I am a songwriter, composer, pianist, consultant, and music educator with a career shaped by both creative work and teaching. My experience includes Emmy-winning documentary film scores, songs featured on Grammy-nominated albums, and a wide range of work across choral, orchestral, jazz, theater, and opera. My work has always been rooted in the belief that strong songwriting, thoughtful guidance, and real experience can help artists develop work that is both meaningful and lasting.

Music Consultant

About My Work

I began my journey as a songwriter with a simple conviction: music should be both artistically honest and clearly expressed. Over time, I saw many talented artists struggle not because of a lack of ability, but because they lacked guidance in shaping and developing their work.

That understanding led me to expand my role beyond creating music. As a music consultant and educator, I work directly with artists and students to help them strengthen their songwriting, refine their ideas, and take the next steps with confidence.

My focus is not on formulas or trends. It is on helping you understand your own creative voice and develop it into work that feels complete and intentional.

A songwriter in leading a small group discussion about composition and artistic growth.

Mission

My work is centered on helping artists and students develop stronger songs and a clearer creative direction. I support work that is thoughtful, well-structured, and true to the individual creating it.

Randy, thank you so much for this incredible song evaluation. I’ve been getting song evaluations for a long time, and the two I’ve received from you are easily the best. I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into them. I look forward to working with you on future songs.
